SiamHOP Eating: If you come to Sanguansri during the end of every March to April, we recommend you not to miss “Kao Chae” which is their best recipe. It will be delicious every time you eat bot the rice itself and side dishes that perfectly match each other. Kao Chae was originated from Mon (Myanmar). Thai people receive this culture and adapt it until it becomes the food that helps cool down during the hottest weather of the year. In the past, Kao Chae will only be available inside the palace, before it has been passing by to the kitchen of normal citizen and still pass on until nowadays.
