This is one of the oldest and most beautiful cathedral in Thailand. It is probably over-a-decade- old. Its structure is Renaissance-influenced, designed by a French architect. The materials like marble and stained glass are well-selected and imported from France, Italy and Singapore. The wall and ceiling is beautiful fresco. Unfortunately, the cathedral was bombed during WWII. But with the cooperation of the Christian community, the repair was initiated and it took around 6 years to complete. Assumption Cathedral shines its beauty once again. It is a Roman Catholic missionary cathedral for 3 schools including Assumption School, Assumption Convent School and Assumption Suksa School. It is the main cathedral for Christian ceremonies of the community. The public are welcome to visit.

是泰国一座最古老及最美观的大教堂之一。年龄已超过一个世纪。建筑物本体是 Renaissance 风格。由法国名建筑师设计及建修。採用高级原材料，无论是大理石或彩色玻璃等。都是来自法国，意大利，星加坡等国。漂洋过海到泰国来。墙壁及天花板以 Fresco 壁画装饰。

不幸的是。这座大教堂在二战时期被日本飞机丢炸弹炸毁。後来经过基督教徒同心协力重新建修达6年。才重返原状。这里是曼谷市罗马天主教传教士驻地。有3所学校。阿善禅学校，阿善禅康文学校及阿善禅使萨学校。也是这社区举办宗教信仰仪式的地方。并开放让一般人士进入参观。
